We’re already a couple of days in the month of October so it’s about time to put up an emptied blogpost. Maybe this blogpost is getting a bit boring because I’m loyal to certain products, especially when it comes to haircare, let me know! Maybe I can put up an emptied blogpost every two or three months to make it more interesting ;). I recently used and tested several new beautyproducts because of the beautybox by Lookfantastic.com I‘m excited about so that might be interesting.

Haircare.

Eventually I’ve emtpied my Elixir Ultime hairoil by Kérastase, I’ve used it for a long time and it’s lovely stuff. In terms of haircare I’m currently a fan of the brand Kérastase and this intensive leave-in treatment is specially suitable for colored hair, it makes your hair very soft and airy without being greasy or flabby.

I don’t use the Revlon hairspray myself but for the blond locks of my son so that they remain in place. On the recommendation of my hairdresser I’m now using a hairspray of Orofluido, it has the same strength but atomised finer over the hair and smells like vanilla.

Last month I’ve emptied two different kinds of dry shampoos. I swear by dry shampoo, it gives your hair more volume and structure and your hair smells delightfully fresh again so you can wait a day longer to wash your hair. The Batiste dry shampoo has less content and is slightly faster empty than the dry shampoo of Andrélon but gives my blond hair a more fresher glow. The Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo has a lovely floral scent and Andrélon Longer Fresh dry shampoo smells like the name says, delightfully fresh.

Skincare.

Micellar cleansing water remains a favorite part of my skin care routine, especially those of Garnier are very nice and come in a large bottle. There are two versions of the Garnier Micellar water, for sensitive skin and for sensitive / combination skin. Both clean your skin properly, but my preference is for the sensitive skin version because it doesn’t contain alcohol. The large oval cotton pads I find the finest in combination with a micellar water to clean my face.

Last month I used my Clarisonic Mia 2 facial cleanser in combination with a facewash of Clinique. With the Clarisonic Mia 2 facial cleanser comes a small tube of cleansing gel that I also emptied last month. Both fine but the cleansing gel of Clarisonic makes my skin more thoroughly clean, no trace of makeup and dirt to be found. The facewash of Clinique is ideal if you have sensitive skin, it soothes your skin and ensures that your skin doesn’t dry out.

Sometimes I just like to clean my face with wipes, it’s really fast and easy, the wipes by Neutral are fragrance free and dermatologically tested. These wipes thoroughly clean and are ideal for eye makeup and (waterproof) mascara, thanks to the moisturizing ingredients your skin will stay soft.

 Make-up.

I recently wrote a review about both products. The Benefit POREFessional Primer is truly magical stuff, it minimizes pores and fine lines and provides a smooth matte finish for under your foundation. I personally think that the Mabelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation is one of the best foundations that you can buy at the drugstore. The natural color pigments in the foundation provide a natural even coverage and the foundation has the name Better Skin for a good reason because it contains Vitamin C and Vitamin B5 Pro for a radiant and hydrated skin.

Yes there he is again, my trusted whitening toothpaste Parodontax. I’ve nice white teeth of myself but I’m also a huge coffee and tea fan that’s why I occasionally treat my teeth with a strip of Crest. There are two strips in the pack, for your upper and lower teeth, you paste it on your teeth and then let sit for 2 hours. When you do this regularly you keep the color of your teeth nice and white, it’s quite mild and I don’t suffer from sensitive teeth or gums.
