The weather gets colder outside and my hands always react to that and get dry. Your hands have a lot to endure throughout the year, think of cold, sun and cleaning products, but they are often forgotten when it comes to care, me too, I only grease my hands when they feel dry. Every day I use an anti-aging cream for my face but also hands get old quickly and will often betray your age because the skin on your hands is quite thin and wrinkles and age spots can be noticeable faster. To also add some hand care to my daily routine I’ve two products by the brand Herôme in use so that my hands are all year smooth and soft.

Herôme Hand Care.

The brand Herôme is very well known for hand and nail care and they have many different types of hand care in their range. From that range I’ve two fine products, a hand mask for the night and a hand cream with SPF for during the day.

Herôme overnight hand mask.

This hand mask for the night comes in in an extra package.

You use this hand mask once per week at night and it gives the skin of your hands immediately a boost. When you have extremely dry hands you can use this hand mask more than once a week or as a cure of three days in a row. The mask stimulates circulation and has a cell renewing action, the ingredients Bisabolol and Aloe Vera will nourish and soothe your skin.

The mask itself is a thin transparent gel that places a film layer on your skin after it has dried. It’s intended that you apply the mask in a thin layer and that you don’t rub it into the skin, in the morning you rinse off the mask with lukewarm water. The hand mask is suitable for all skin types, even if you have eczema on your hands it has a nourishing and healing effect.

Herôme hand cream.

Very nice, this hand cream contains SPF 8! Sun protection is also very important for your hands to prevent age spots.

This hand cream is a thick cream that quickly absorbed and leaves no greasy residue. This cream can be applied several times a day, massage it, as opposed to the hand mask, in your skin. This cream provides moisture and firmness to your hands to prevent aging of your skin. The UV A + B filters protect your skin against the harmful effects of the sun.

Conclusion.

Sometimes I can be a bit obsessive frequently wash my hands one day (light form of hosophobia) and I can notice that to my skin, especially in the winter months, a dry skin especially around the knuckles. In the summer it’s actually pretty good, my skin just responds more extreme in the fall and winter.

The hand mask is really very nice, it’s ideal that you can apply it before you go to sleep and that it can do magic all night without having an eye on it. Once you‘ve applied the hand mask, after a few seconds it’s like you have nothing on, it totally disappears, but in the morning you still feel a difference and your hands are soft.

What I like about the hand cream is the SPF 8 that’s in it, all day smooth and soft hands and also protection against the sun. I find it annoying when a hand cream leaves a greasy layer on your hands and this cream doesn’t do that at all, it attracts completely into your skin. Chapped and dry hands are history!
