Normally I’m not really a lipstick girl, mostly I like to go for a nice lipgloss but after I’d read some positive reviews of the latest NARS lipstick I was curious enough to buy two beautiful colors from the collection.
NARS Audacious Lipstick.
The collection of NARS lipstick Audacious consists of 40 different colors, all colors have been given a name and are named after a famous woman. The formula of this lipstick is really amazing and gives a satiny finish on your lips, the lipstick is not completely matt but certainly not glossy, it’s somewhere in between, creamy matt is probably the best description. The lipsticks are very well pigmented and with one movement over your lips you already have lots of color and covers it your lips completely.
The Nars Audacious lipsticks come in a black package with large black NARS letters on it.
The NARS Audacious Colors.
The two colors I’ve chosen are both quite striking and they really pop out.
The lipsticks are very nice and sitting in a metal shell whereby the cap of the lipstick itself clicks into place with a magnet. This trick is ideal when you want to take the lipstick in your bag or for traveling, that way you are sure that the cap doesn’t come off and your bag won’t get dirty. On the lipstick itself and the metal shell you will find the large NARS letters.
How beautiful! The lipsticks are all so beautiful and have such bright colors! The two colors that I bought are Natalie and Grace.
NARS Audacious Natalie.
The color Natalie is very soft and is described by NARS as Flamingo Pink with a warm undertone.

The color is described by Grace NARS as a bright pink / coral color and this color also has a warm undertone.

Conclusion.
This lipgloss girl is convinced! Lipstick it is. With my blonde hair I’m always a bit hesitant about a bright color on my lips but because these colors are semi–matte I find the result very beautiful. Also I was always a little afraid that this kind of lipsticks should feel dry on my lips but this is certainly not the case with the NARS Audacious lipsticks, don’t expect super hydration but it doesn’t dry out your lips, it just feels very creamy and soft on your lips. The formula is very fine, the color doesn’t “bleed” or goes in your fine lines and you don’t even need a lipliner. The pigmentation is very strong of these lipsticks, I think it’s a big plus that the color stays beautiful on your lips for a long time and that the color cover your lips completely so that your own lip color won’t come through. The lipstick isn’t cheap but highly recommended because it simply can’t disappoint, there are some nude colors that I like to have from this collection as the colors Anna and Vanessa.
