I love luxury hair care, the Kérastase hair care smells incredibly good, like if you come from the hairdresser. When it comes to my hair care I’m not easily satisfied and I preferably choose a professional brand. Kérastase is a professional hairdressing brand that for every hair type or hair needs has a care line in the range. I have two products tested in two different care lines and on both I’m enthusiastic.
Kérastase Cristalliste Bain Cristal Shampoo.
This shampoo is perfect when you have long manes and is available in two different versions, for long / thick hair and for long / thin hair. The Cristalliste line represents silky and shiny hair, Bain Cristal shampoo is enriched with a plant extract that makes the hair beautifully smooth and weightless without weighing the lengths down.
On the back are the ingredients, this shampoo is free of parabens, silicones and dyes. The Complexe Lumière Liquide leaves hair gentle and smooth. The Aloe Vera that’s contained in the shampoo is a powerful and natural moisturizer that leaves your hair shine.
The shampoo has a screwcap, is good in dosing by the convenient opening and because the shampoo is thicker than normal.
Conslusion.
Ohh that smell is so good, it smells like roses! This shampoo not only smells good, it cleanses my hair very mild so my hair feels soft after washing. My hair is weightless from root to tip and therefore has more volume with a subtle shine, pure pampering.
Kérastase Elixir Kultime Thé Impérial.
This oil is available in four variants; for all hair types, for colored hair, fine hair and weakened hair. I tested the oil for colored hair, Kérastase Elixir Kultime with Thé Impérial (white tea extract). This luscious perfumed care gives shine and brightness to your hair, nourishes the hair deeply and provides UV protection in the sun.
On the back of the bottle is some information.
The bottle Kérastase Elixir Ultime comes in a pink box where you will find the ingredients on the bottom. The Elixir contains tea extract, and 4 nourishing oils. What it does;
- Thé Impérial. White tea extract that’s highly concentrated in flavonoids (antioxidants) improves the depth of your hair color.
- Mais Oil: A soothing and nourishing oil for ultimate shine.
- Pracaxi Oil: Brings shine, nourishment and deep conditioning to the hair.
- Camellia oil: Helps to smooth the hair fiber that cause you hair an incredible shine.
- Argan Oil: Helps to restore the hair and protects it from external factors.
This bottle is full of ingredients that make your hair healthy and will keep it healthy, what’s not to love!
This oil can be used in multiple ways, use in any way 2 to 4 pumps (depending on your hair length);
- Pre-Cleanse: Before you wash your hair, apply on brushed hair and rinse well, then wash your hair as usual. This is done to remove impurities before you wash your hair.
- Pre–Blow Dry: Apply to towel-dried hair and blow dry as normal, this is for extra protection.
- Finishing: Apply to the ends of your hair to prevent frizz, for smooth and soft hair.
- Touch-up: Apply during the day to add a touch of shine when needed and to let your hair smell delicious.
Conclusion.
What is it with hairdressing brands, this product also has a wonderful floral scent, of course it’s not without a reason a perfumed hair care, but still. I use this product after washing on towel dried hair and sometimes a little bit when I need to blow dry my hair extra. Very nice this oil, it doesn’t grease my hair, but makes it soft with a beautiful sheen. In combination with the Kérastase Bain Cristal Cristalliste shampoo it works perfectly, for me a golden duo that nourishes my hair and makes it smooth and weightless throughout the day.
