A while ago I bought a Too Faced Melted Lipstick online at Sephora, I liked that lipstick so much that I’ve bought 2 more colors when I was in America. Although the pictures online are almost exactly the real deal, still the benefit of the physical store Sephora remains that you can test the colors out for yourself and see them with your own eyes.
Fully named; Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick is now available in 32 colors. These colors are divided into three categories; Melted Chocolate, Melted and Melted Metal. It’s a liquid lipstick that comes in great-looking little tubes of 12ml (that’s a lot of content) having the same color almost exactly as the lipstick itself. Under the cap is a soft angled applicator for a precise lip. Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick sits between a lip gloss and a lipstick with a satin finish. All colors are free of parabens and sulfates.
The lipstick is incredibly strong pigmented, completely covers your lip in one layer and stays beautiful for a long time. With other liquid lipsticks my lips can sometimes feel dry and then I always have to use a lip balm with it, but with these liquid lipsticks from Too Faced I don’t have that feeling at all. Now other liquid lipsticks which feel a little dry are also kiss-proof, because they complete dry up on you lips they stay in place for almost a daylong. The Melted lipsticks are not kiss-proof but due to the strong pigmentation they stay perfect for a long time and feel comfortable on the lips.
Too Faced Melted Lipstick.
These are the three colors. From left to right; Nude, Chihuahua and Melted Peony, all three are from the Melted collection.
Too Faced Melted Nude.
I’m normally always a bit hesitant with nude colors because I think it doesn’t really do much for my face, but this nude color, which is described as Neutral Nude, I found worth trying. By the strong pigmentation I find this nude color very nice and I think this is what a nude lipstick is meant to be.
Too Faced Melted Chihuahua.
I think this is my favorite of the three, it’s also one of the newest colors of the Melted Lipsticks. This color is described as Dusty Mauve and is a very warm color. The color is somewhere between brown and pink, very beautiful. Chihuahua also has the most shine of the three.
Too Faced Melted Peony.
This is the first Melted Lipstick that I’ve bought online, it’s a soft pink color described as Dusty Rose and is very popular. The color looks a little matt with a subtle sheen. Truly a color for every day.
Too Faced Melted Lipsticks are available at TooFaced.com for $ 21.00 (12ml).
