The brand OCC stands for Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and is a brand that’s 100% vegan and cruelty-free. I had this OCC Lip Tar for a while but found the color too orange and I’m not a fan of orange lips. Although this color orange is quite okay, Kingsday (national day in The Netherlands) is the only day in the whole year that I wear it. Fortunately OCC has many more colors in the range that I find very beautiful.
OCC Lip Tar.
This is the orange color on my lips and it is called Grandma. This lip gloss comes in a tube of 10ml with a small lip brush to apply the lip gloss.
In total there are 26 colors which are all highly pigmented. Besides being vegan and cruelty-free they contain no parabens and harsh preservatives. The lip gloss contains peppermint oil (you smell very light) and vitamin E to soften your lips.
Conclusion.
This color is not my thing (except today at Kingsday), but the lip gloss itself I personally find quite nice. The lip gloss doesn’t stick, is quite long lasting and feels comfortable on your lips. Because the lip gloss is liquid you can mix the different colors for a new and different color. You feel that there’s oil in the gloss and therefore you should be careful that the lip gloss doesn’t slip outside the lines, with the brush you can make it more precise, just don’t use too much lip gloss for a good result. When you are not using the lip gloss for a while the pigment comes off the oil, then shake well to mix everything back together.
