Coffee Scrub + DIY

You don’t even have to be a coffee drinker to love the smell of coffee. I’ve a slight coffee addiction (yes, I literally get a headache when my first cup of coffee is waiting for too long), our Nespresso device runs overtime. Nothing at disadvantages of the tea drinkers among us, I like to drink that too, but coffee is something I can drink anywhere and it keeps me energetic throughout the day.

Coffee Scrub + DIY.

Coffee is not only nice for the inner person, you can also make a budget-friendly body scrub with it. Caffeine in coffee has a beneficial effect on cellulite because it stimulates fat degradation in fat cells.

Scrubbing is good for the blood circulation and to remove dead skin cells. In addition to the coffee, the DIY scrub down below has even more advantages. Olive oil is rich in antioxidants including vitamin E and nourishes the skin. Cane sugar contains a natural source of glycolic acid that exfoliates and strengthens the skin. When you add the lemon juice, this will have a cleansing effect on the skin, it also works perfectly with skin discoloration because it has a bleaching effect.

This is what you need:

  • 1 tablespoon of finely ground coffee
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons cane sugar
  • optional 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Stir all ingredients together in a bowl, add a little more olive oil or coffee until you have the desired thickness for your scrub. Take the bowl with you under the shower and apply the scrub to a moist skin. Scrub your skin with rotating movements and rinse off.
