Alpha-H Vitamin B Serum

Recently I wrote a review about the new powerful set of 4 different Alpha-H vitamin Serums. In this set are the vitamins A, B, C and E, of which the vitamin B is a new serum.

Alpha-H Vitamin B Serum.

Alpha-H Vitamin B Serum

The vitamin B serum of Alpha-H includes the two most important B vitamins for the skin, namely B3 (niacinamide) and B5 (panthenol). In addition, it contains even more active ingredients.

5% vitamin B3 (niacinamide): An essential vitamin for sensitive skin. It stimulates the production of collagen and free fatty acids, making the skin firmer and losing less moisture. This makes your skin better protected against external influences. This vitamin also reduces inflammation and makes it useful for skin that suffers from acne or rosacea. In addition Niacinamide works soothing and inhibits the sebum production. This is the reason why dermatologists use vitamin B3 for certain skin conditions.

The maximum percentage that may be sold in the store is 5%. Dosages from 5% reduce sun damage such as superficial pigmentation.

1% vitamin B5 (panthenol): This is a vitamin B that penetrates deep into the skin where it’s converted into pantothenic acid, which again promotes cell division. In this way it contributes to skin rejuvenation but also wounds will heal faster. In addition, it attracts water to improve hydration and elasticity. Like the B3 vitamin B5 works by calming inflammation.

Ferulic Acid: This is one of the most powerful antioxidants in nature, it enhances the antioxidant power of other ingredients. It protects skin from skin aging and sun damage and reduces hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.

Copper Peptides: Copper inhibits the growth of bacteria in the skin. It neutralizes free radicals and gives your complexion a huge refresher. These peptides give a lot of boost to skin cells, collagen and elastin production.

Chia Seed Extract: A superfood that works like a magnet on moisture. It draws moisture, sucks it up like a sponge and holds it tight. Essential for dry and sensitive skin. It’s rich in minerals, antioxidants and fatty acids that helps reduce wrinkles and pores.

Fision™ Hydrate: Provides immediate improvement of hydration (+ 8%), but also for improved long term hydration (+ 23%). The skin cells fill with moisture which makes the skin look fuller.

How to use.

This serum can be used in the morning and evening. Optionally you can follow up with your favorite moisturizer.

Conclusion.

The odor of copper is definitely present and the vitamin B serum is the only serum from the Alpha-H vitamin profiling collection that has a smell to it. I was most curious for this serum, firstly because vitamin B is quite new to skincare and secondly because I heard very good things during the press conference about it.

This serum soothes my skin very well and I therefore like to use it when my skin becomes more restless (read 1x per month for a certain period of time). Because it gives my skin a fuller look and boosts my complexion, it’s an ideal “primer”. The serum needs to be absorbed into your skin before applying makeup otherwise it will feel a little sticky and your makeup becomes flattery.

The Vitamin Profiling Kit is available at Cult Beauty for £ 49.99 (4x 25ml). The Vitamin B serum is available for £ 58.50 (50ml).
