For a long time I’ve used the deodorants Lady Speed Stick and Secret with a high percentage of Aluminum in it. Aluminum in deodorants works as an antiperspirant and has been into disrepute for a while now. It’s increasingly linked to breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, although there’s no evidence provided more and more people choose for a “healthier” deodorant. It’s true that Aluminum in deodorants close your sweat glands and pores so that no sweat can get through, this could accumulate toxins in your body. I find it difficult, toxins also leave your body in other places in your body and especially through your kidneys and liver, but it’s something that keeps me busy. Aluminium is in many things, in food and drinks, even in tap water. Proven is that a high concentration of aluminum in your body can lead to health risks.
Tip: When you use a deodorant with Aluminum make sure that you shaved your armpits at night before going to bed, in the morning your skin will take in much less Aluminum.
Actually I was looking for a deodorant with no Aluminum in it and I used the Sanex Zero% deodorant for a while. Unfortunately this offers little protection for me and I smell through it after a while and spraying again seems to make it worse.
Kiehl’s Superbly Efficient Deodorant.
Eventually I ended up with this deodorant by Kiehl’s, it also contains Aluminium but much less than the Lady Speed Stick and Secret deodorant. The deodorant is a cream that is very gentle on your skin, it soothes the skin under your armpits and provides long-lasting protection. The tube contains a volume of 50ml and the cream is odorless.
With this application you can apply a small amount directly on your skin. The cream is thin and is quickly absorbed into your skin.
Ingredients.
Kiehl’s Superbly Efficient Deodorant contains in addition to Aluminum chlorohydrate also natural ingredients such as; orange, lemon and linseed extract. Good to know; Kiehl’s doesn’t test on animals.
Conclusion.
This deodorant protects really all day, sweat and odor stay away and I’m glad that the deodorant itself is odorless. Odors in a deodorant doesn’t work for me. The cream is very soft, is quickly absorbed and nourishes the skin under my arms, my armpits feel much smoother after shaving.

Have you tried Crystal? Not only it contains no aluminium, it also protects me from unpleasant odor all day, without even blocking the sweat glands from normally perspiring! Sweating is normal physiological response, especially when we cope with heat or psychological stress, so don’t avoid them! The Crystal’s natural salt stick might be a hassle to apply but i promise you it works! And a little goes a long way
