Beautiful make-up doesn’t need to be expensive, budget brand Essence has beautiful make-up for very low prices. The make-up of Essence is always characterized by cheerful packaging which you can compare a little with the brand Benefit, fun prints and rich colors.

I’ve tested mattifying paper and also a matte blush which is new in the range of Essence and available in two different colorslast I tested a nice lip balm from the new collection Happy Girls Are Pretty.

Essence all about matt! oil control paper.

With my combination skin that can shine quite quickly (depends on which products I use) mattifying paper is an outcome, convenient to carry and quick to use. In the carton of Essence are 50 pieces of mattifying papers.

You can pull the papers easily one by one from the package and they are just big enough to mattify your t-zone. Dab gently on the places you want to mattify, the paper absorbs excess sebum and your skin looks beautiful matt again.

Essence matt touch blush.

Essence matt touch blush

This matte blush comes, as I said, in two different colors, the color above is 010 peach me up! and in addition there is the color 020 berry me up! and this color is what the name suggests a shade darker.

Essence matt touch blushThe blush looks really quite beautiful and this peach color is very soft and subtle. The blush is not very strongly pigmented but gives a beautiful and natural-looking color on your cheeks that’s easy to build.

This lip balm comes from the collection Happy Girls Are Pretty and it’s de color 02 live, laugh, love and repeat. There is also a touch lighter available and that’s the color 01 pretty you!. Convenient, the color of the packaging is exactly the same as the lip balm itself.

Essence sheer lip balm

It’s a lip balm and not a lipstick meaning that it gives a touch of color and isn’t very strongly pigmented like a lipstick. I like the color just right, it’s an ideal color for daytime, it’s a soft and warm pink color which is beautiful on every skin tone. The lip balm itself is very soft and gives a subtle gloss to your lips without sticking.

Conclusion.

Essence Make-UpDon’t mind the eyebrow fail! Here you can see how soft te color of the blush is and the lip balm accentuates the color of my lips quite nicely with a light gloss. The blush actually stays all day nicely and the lip balm is gone after about 2 hours, fine so for that price. Also I‘m excited about the mattifying paper, very convenient to quickly take away my shine during the day.

Essence make-up is online available at Kosmetik4less.de. The mattifying paper is € 1,95 (5o stuks), the matt blush is € 2,45 (5 gram) and last the lip balm is € 2,25 (1,9 gram).

What do you think of the budget brand Essence? Let me know XO.
