Snapchat is still something I haven’t used yet. When it comes to Social Media, Instagram is by far my favorite. Since last August this popular app has a snapchat-like function, Instagram Stories. With this feature you can share a photo or video any time of the day with your followers. When you share multiple photos or videos they appear in a slideshow. Your story. With each photo you can add a text or a drawing, there are also a number of filters you can apply. The photos and videos don’t appear in your Instagram feed and disappear from your Instagram Stories after 24 hours.
To view someone’s Instagram Stories just tap on his or her profile picture. If there’s something new to see you will see a colorful ring around the profile picture. Your followers can’t like a photo or video but can react to it, these reactions you only get to see in your Instagram private messages.
For those who missed it, I’ll show you a (short) week of my Instagram Stories. I haven’t posted a photo every day on Instagram Stories (there’s still a bit of getting used to and sometimes I just forget about it) but I’ve made a start.
Instagram Stories.

Duhh, of course the 1st photo is sushi;). This day I was a day out with a friend and our kids. It was rainy and we ended up in an indoor playground. My kids are crazy about sushi so we ended the day in a restaurant with a choice for everyone, including a lot of sushi. This was in fact my plate.

As a coffee addict such a picture like this can’t be missed. So this is how it looks around the Nespresso machine when an order of coffee arrived that still needs to be cleaned up.
We now almost live a year in our new home and all that time we had 4 rickety bar stools standing at the kitchen island. That had to change. Our new bar stools are perfect with the rest of our interior.
After our youngest had his swimming lesson we went to the zoo with the four of us. Coffee on the go can’t be missed!
That night we decided to make pizzas at home. The kids were already eating when our pizza was ready, each a half with our favorite toppings.
Sunday, October 23.
Sunday my husband and I went to the match Feyenoord – Ajax. Before we sat down at De Kuip I ate a tasty sandwich with warm ham.
We were early so we could drink some coffee, which was really very nasty, blèhh!
Monday, October 24.
My husband has brought al lot of delicious flavors for in the coffee!
But as a coffee-addict I can also appreciate tea though! My last cup of coffee is immediately after dinner and then I switch over to tea. Mostly just green tea and occasional tasty fresh mint tea with a slice of lemon.

I plan to write an article about Korean beauty products soon. The Korean brand Too Cool For School has a great moisturizer in the range, the All-in-one Mellow Egg Cream. About this 5 in 1 product soon more.
Every month I place an article about products that I’ve emptied in that past month. I’ve made a close-up of the bag where I store these products.

This new fragrance by Marc Jacobs is very nice and comes in a very beautiful bottle. Love!
When it’s Autumn the children are always looking for chestnuts. Every year half a shoebox disappears in the trash because we can never eat all of it. Maybe make a delicious recipe with chestnuts?
The last photo of this week. A recipe from the Hello Fresh box that I use once in the 3 weeks. Creamy pasta with white fish and nuts, yum!
That was my short week of Instagram Stories. I realize now that my story is mainly about food and coffee 😯 the upcoming week should still be with some more variety.
What do you think of Instagram Stories, or do you rather keep it with Snapchat? Let me know XO.
