Tomorrow it’s Christmas! I love this time of year. Not the cold outside, but I love how nice it’s inside the house with dear people around you, Christmas lights everywhere and good foods and drinks. I thought it would be nice to do a Christmas Tag today. The questions are a mix of Christmas Tags that I found online.
What’s your favorite Christmas song?
All I Want For Christmas Is You and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by Mariah Carey will always be my favorites. Also Last Christmas by Wham! remains a classic one for Christmas.
What’s your favorite Christmas movie?
How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Jim Carrey plays that role perfectly of course.
What’s on top of your Christmas Wishlist?
I’ve recently shown my beauty wish list. Of course, the Christmas presents are nice but the most important thing is that you have a warm Christmas with loved ones around you. Add to that a lot of food and drinks and my wish is fulfilled.
Dining out or Cooking?
Both. 1st Christmas Day (In The Netherlands we have 2 Christmas Days) we eat at home with family and the 2nd Christmas Day we will be dining out with just the four of us. Christmas Eve we eat at home, last year we did Pizzarette and this year we are going to fondue (no cheese but broth).
White Christmas: yes or no?
I always say that it can only snow two days a year, which is with Christmas. So yes. But after Christmas it must be gone very quickly and the temperature may also go up again. I’m just not that good with cold, you will never see me go skiing.
Have you ever built a snowman?
Oh yeah we used to do that a lot when I was little. Back then we had a lot more meters of snow and there was enough for a big snowman with every bell and whistle. That’s quite different the last few years.
A real or fake Christmas tree?
I have 2 fakes in the house, so fake. I find fake just as beautiful as a real one and awfully easy. No dragging, they are up in no time and you have no loss of needles.
What color balls are there in the tree?
White with silver, in both trees.
White lights or colored lights?
Absolutely white lights. I really don’t like colored lights.
With Christmas sleep late or get up early?
A little bit in between. It don’t have to be very early to start the day, but I also think it’s a waste of the day when we all stay in bed for too long. Until an hour of 0900 is just right.
What’s your favorite Christmas drink?
I always like a red wine, but these days I also like to drink licor 43 or Baileys.
What’s your favorite Christmas snack?
I like it when there are all sorts of different snacks on the table. I love fish, so salmon and mackerel are always good.
What’s your favorite makeup look for Christmas?
I think red lipstick with Christmas is always very beautiful. But then I leave the rest more soft, a soft blush and eyeshadow but plenty of mascara.
Glitter eyeshadow gold or silver?
I don’t find silver such a beautiful color as an eyeshadow but I like gold on the eyes. Gold is also great to combine with other warm colors.
