I use dry shampoo every week. Ideal to refresh your hair and give it some volume again. Your hair smells great, the greasy shine is gone, your hair is easy to style and has more volume and texture. For me, Batiste is the absolute number 1 and then the Extra Volume variant. But recently I’ve another favorite, the 3 in 1 dry shampoo by Nivea, this is worth a try.

Dry shampoo is the ideal lifesaver to quickly refresh your hair and give it extra body and texture. But you can also use it for many other things. After reading these 4 tips, dry shampoo becomes your daily essential.

4 ways to use dry shampoo

Nivea 3 in 1 dry shampoo for light hair. Also available in the variant for dark hair.

1.  To get volume
Use dry shampoo to prevent greasy hair and to give your hair more body. Flip your hair over and spray some dry shampoo on your hair roots. After shaking your hair it will have a volume boost. For example, the Batiste™ Extra Volume dry shampoo is ideal for this.

2.  To style
Dry shampoo is a great way to give your hair some texture so your curls will fall out less quickly. Or when you put your hair up it will keep your locks in place much longer.

3.  To keep your bangs out of your forehead
By spraying some dry shampoo at the bottom of your bangs, the part which is seated against your forehead, you make sure your bangs stay beautiful in shape.

4.  To hide outgrowth
Postpone your visit to the hairdresser with dry shampoos with a touch of color especially for brown and blond hair. The use of dry shampoo between the wet washes, can help prevent your hair color faded. It’s an ideal way to extend the time between the hair color. The dry shampoos connect to your hair color so you will not get a white haze. The Divine Brunette or the Brilliant Blonde from Batiste™ are perfect for this!
