I’ve been using for a long time a foundation of the brand By Terry, it works so well that I never actually make a switch to a different foundation, until the brand Tarte came with a new foundation. Why I’m a fan of the foundations of the brand By Terry because they all feel very light on the skin and look very natural, like you have nothing on your skin, that’s also what this new foundation by Tarte does. A lightweight foundation, water-based, which gives enough coverage.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation.
This new liquid foundation by Tarte is available in 12 different shades. The formula is a lightweight, covering and moisturizing. What I also think is important in a foundation is that it contains sunscreen, in this case there’s SPF 15. This SPF is a non-chemical SPF (Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide) which means that it doesn’t irritate your skin and that these non-chemical SPF remains on your skin so that no harmful substances enter the body.
The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a volume of 30ml. The cap looks chic with an ombre effect of purple and gold. I’ve the color Light Medium Neutral, this color is for a light to medium skin with yellow and / or pink undertones.
The cap is a dropper which you fill by pressing the small button on top of the cap. Shake well before use, if you want a light coverage than 2 drops is enough, if you want more coverage use 4 drops for your entire face.

The Rainforest of the Sea™ complex contains a blend of algae extracts which helps reduce fine lines, the Vitamin E in the foundation acts as an antioxidant on your skin.
Conclusion.
There’s a special Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Brush for this foundation, but I apply this foundation just with my fingers and then blend it evenly across my face with my moist beautyblender.
What an incredibly great foundation! I never thought I would ever come across such a fantastic foundation after the By Terry foundations. The coverage is very good and looks very natural, it’s almost as if you are blessed with a naturally smooth complexion;). The foundation doesn’t accumulate in my fine lines and gives a beautiful dewy effect on my combination skin. This foundation is suitable for all skin types, even for oily skins. I always use a primer under my foundation and despite the liquid formula the foundation remains nice all day. The finish is velvety and it feels like you have nothing on, my skin looks smooth and fine lines and pores are less visible.
