With my combination skin, I’m not happy with foundations that have a dewy finish, I also don’t like it when I’ve to use too much powder to make it matte. I’m always looking for a foundation with a matte finish that covers enough but doesn’t give a mask effect. The L’Oréal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation is such a foundation, it has been around for a while, but I think it’s so great that I want to write a review about it.
L’Oréal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation.
The formula of this foundation works absorbent, leaving you free from any shine during the day. Normally a matte foundation is thicker, but this one has a light texture and allows the skin to breathe without having a mask effect.
The foundation comes in a 35ml tube and I use the color 20 Sand. The foundation has a thin texture and comes from a small spout, so the foundation is well dosed and it works hygienically. The foundation is available in 6 different shades.
L’Oréal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation is waterproof and will survive a rain shower. Even after an intensive workout your foundation will still remain beautiful.
Conclusion.
I’m very happy with the natural coverage that this foundation give and that I stay shine free all day long. The foundation is especially suitable for normal or combination skin. If you have a very dry skin this foundation is not recommended, but you probably will not choose for a matte foundation so quickly. Unfortunately there’s no spf in it, but Coola has a good solution for that if I want to sit in the sun. My skin stays beautiful matte all day and there’s no powder needed. L’Oréal is talking about 24H mat but the time I’ve skipped a night sleep has been a while ago, at least I dont have to update my foundation during the day. The foundation looks very natural because the texture is very light and makes it very easy to apply. To apply my foundation I use a stippling brush from Zoeva.
