Punk up the volume! This mascara promise extremely high volume for your lashes, the L’Oréal Miss Manga Punky Mega Volume Mascara. L’Oréal Paris makes the most innovative products “because you’re worth it” and this mascara is the sequel of the popular Miss Manga Mega Volume Mascara with the pink cap. This mascara isn’t called “Punky” for nothing and is quite fierce.

The Miss Manga Punky Mascara comes in a black tube with a bright yellow cap.
On the campaign images of Miss Manga Punky you see especially spider legs, I personally don’t think that’s beautiful, but luckily you only get a similar effect with many layers of the Miss Manga Punky mascara. The idea is that with this mascara you create a kind of spiky effect on your upper and lower lashes that you can build up until you have achieved the desired effect.
The brush.
As with any mascara it stands or falls with he brush. The brush of the Miss Manga Punky has a conical shape, which catches all your lashes at once, the large spaces between the bristles ensure the Punky like effect.
Conclusion.
I only put on two layers to prevent the spiky effect I’m not a fan of. The first few times I wasn’t crazy about this mascara, now I was also extremely spoiled by my Diorshow Iconic Overcurl, so maybe that’s not fair and it’s also a mascara in a different price range. I use this mascara from L’Oréal for a while now and I like it better and better, it makes my lashes nicely full with enough length. Tip; something I always do with every mascara, at the first layer apply the mascara brush first vertically along the lashes and then immediately apply a normal layer of mascara, this creates extra volume. I skip the mascara on my lower lashes, this mascara has the tendency to slightly give off, further a good mascara.
