The 50s retro pattern Polka Dots is one of the trends this spring in terms of fashion and is seen a lot on the catwalk. It appears that this trend is far from over and is even taken over in the beauty industry. Polka Dots nails are hot and it’s a simple nail art that anyone can make, Dior makes it even more easy now and has a complete set with two colors of nail polish and a brush to properly apply the Dots.
Dior Vernis Polka Dots Nail Polish.
This manicure kit is available in 3 different versions, I’ve number 003 Plumetis and it contains the colors Dior Vernis Dior Vernis 582 and 262. Both colors have a volume of 7ml.
The Dior Vernis 582 is a dusty mauve color and I find it very beautiful. Dior nail polish applies quite fine without any streaks and gives a nice even color with lots of shine.
The brush to bring the dots on is very useful through the round ball on the end, first you put some polish on a piece of paper and then you dip the ball in the paint and dot it gently on your nails.
I first colored my nails with the mauve color and put the dots on with the light color but of course you can also do this the other way around.
Conclusion.
I like this for now and then, and it’s something different. Dior nail polishes work very fine and are super of quality. The only thing you need to watch with the color you like to make the Dots with is that the nail polish thickens quickly on paper, therefore use small amounts at a time and always in a different spot on the paper. To make the dots pretty the nail polish should be fluid.
