A radiant and fresh looking skin in the morning by the Youth Surge Night Cream by Clinique.
Normally I use a night cream of Clarins for the night. Such a fine brand. Then, the most preferably the Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery Cream for Normal to Combination Skin. But as you may know it is good for your skin to alternate regularly, that’s why I tested the Clinique youth surge night night cream. I’m already in my mid 30s (read 36, oh dear) so it must be a cream that actively blurs fine lines and wrinkles.
The night cream fully named: Clinique Youth Surge Night Age Decelerating Night Moisturizer.
The night cream is available in 3 variants:
- Skin type 1 Dry / Very Dry
- Skin type 2 Dry / combination
- Huidtype 3 Combination/oily
I use the variant dry / combination for my skin type 2. My skin sometimes tend, especially in the autumn and winter months, to be dry around my nose, at the same time I sometimes have a shiny t-zone. Very nice; the cream is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free.
What the night cream promise to do:
- This night cream used restorative ingredients that do slow down the aging process.
- The natural collagen production is stimulated so lines and wrinkles seem to disappear.
- The skin looks younger, brighter and fresher. The skin is elastic, tighter, smoother and softer.
You understand, my expectations are high. Especially considering the price of $ 53.50 for 1.7 oz
Let’s try!
Conclusion: It It is a rich cream that you do not need to use too much at a time (something I always do). Because the cream feels quite thick you have the idea that the cream doesn’t withdraw into the skin very fast and continues to feel a little “greasy”. Now I find this at bedtime not a problem, the important thing is of course the next morning. Because of the “thickness” of the cream your skin feels nourished. It does to a large extent what it promises. My skin looks healthy, blemishes and wrinkles appear less. Above all, my skin feels hydrated, very nice. I think it’s certainly a fine cream which I’m sure, for a change with Clarins, will buy again.
Clinique claimed that with this night cream after 4 weeks you should see a difference in the condition of your skin, especially the fine lines. I’m curious, I’ll be using this cream for a while ;).
Tip; if you want to get it right, use during the day in the same line of Clinique de Youth Surge SPF 15 Age Decelerating Moisturizer
Clinique is for sale at Sephora, the night cream Youth Surge Night is available for $ 53.50 for 1.7 oz.
