A great success in America and now also available in the Netherlands, the Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation. A while ago I attended the virtual event of this new foundation from Clinique, available in no less than 42 shades and 100% perfume-free. This foundation is also a skincare product that improves your skin in the long term with 3 serum technologies.

Even Better™ Clinical Serum Foundation SPF 20

Clinique’s first clinical found de teint with revolutionary oil-free formula, contains 3 serums that beautify the skin even more.

Hyaluronic acid for deep hydration, gives fuller skin
Salicylic acid for smoother skin and restore texture
Vitamin C + UP302 for an even complexion and against pigmentation spots

The foundation comes in a glass bottle that you can recycle. With the pump dispenser you can dose well and this works very hygienically. There are no less than 42 shades, I have the shade WN 12, also my Even Better Concealer is in this shade.

Conclusion

The foundation feels very light on the skin and immediately gives a lot of coverage. You really only need very little for your entire face. The formula dries quickly, it is important to blend well with a brush or (damp) beauty blender. After applying it, I like to spray my face with a nourishing facial spray for a little more hydration because the foundation remains a bit on the dry side. I always find it a big plus when a foundation contains SPF, with SPF20 this foundation protects well in the sun.

I absolutely love the concealer, it is very natural and gives enough coverage against dark circles. It fills in the fine lines and provides a fresh look. Non-comedogenic and therefore ideal for contact lens wearers like me or people with sensitive eyes.

Clinique skin care

In addition to the foundation and concealer, I also received two very nice skin care products from Clinique, the take the day off Cleansing Balm and the moisture surge.

I prefer to clean my face with a balm, I like that you have to apply it to dry skin, after a while massaging your makeup and mascara melts off your face. With the take the day off Cleansing Balm your skin will feel wonderfully soft and it will be well hydrated after cleansing.

The moisture surge is an oil-free gel-cream that feels very fresh and immediately gives you a moisture boost. Very nice for under your make-up because it ensures a smooth skin. I especially like this gel-cream because it hydrates my skin incredibly well without making me very shiny.
