I must confess that I don’t always give my eyebrows attention. I think they’re already quite present because they are dark and the only thing I keep on track is plucking. Once I painted them in a beautysalon to get in those tight lines but that was really too dark for me. Yet it’s a fact that when I do color my eyebrow myself it really does something for my face, as long as it doesn’t turned out too heavy. There are several products that you use to bring your eyebrows into shape, but I personally think a pencil with a thin point works the finest and gives the most natural result.

Benefit Cosmetics added a brow collection with 13 new products to their assortment. From this collection I tested one of the eyebrow pencils.

Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil.

The packaging and appearance of the brand Benefit can only make you happy. Again, this is very nice designed. The good thing about this eyebrow pencil is that it’s waterproof so the color lasts all day.

How cute! Something different than a normal eyebrow pencil. This pencil is available in 6 different colors from very light brown for when you have light eyebrows to brown / black. Color 1 and 2 are light, 3 and 4 medium and 5 and 6 dark. If you have silver strands in your hair or dyed your hair in the trendy color gray then it’s beautiful to fill in your eyebrows with the lightest color (1) and then apply stripes with the darkest color (6).

On one side is the eyebrow pencil and at the other side is a brush. The tip of the pencil is firm and thin so you can put subtle stripes. You don’t have to sharpen the pencil, you rotate the pencil from the shell up. Under the pencil is a so called custom control grip so that you can hold the pencil properly.

I’ve used the color 3 medium but I can also use the color 4 medium because I’m naturally a brunette and therefore my eyebrows are pretty dark.

Conclusion.

Previously I used a pencil of Maybelline but then this pencil by Benefit is surely of a different quality. Where the color by Maybelline fades at the end of the day, this pencil by Benefit stays pretty all day. The tip of the pencil is thin and firm which works great and easy so the result looks natural. With a light hand you apply stripes on your brows that look like hairs.
