Will you become a sleeping beauty?

In the film, women wake up in the morning with a nice layer of make-up and their hair perfectly curled. This is how you might want to get up, but unfortunately that is not possible in reality. However, if you ensure that you get enough sleep and that that night’s sleep is of good quality, you will automatically become a sleeping beauty.

Sleep is extremely important for good health and after a wonderful night, you will immediately look a lot fresher and therefore more beautiful in the morning. In this article we give you some tips that will make you a sleeping beauty too.

Get enough sleep

To look well rested in the morning, it is important that you get enough sleep. Do you feel that you are already dozing off on the sofa in your house suit in front of the TV? Then go straight to bed to get a good night’s sleep.

An adult needs an average of eight hours of sleep per day. Also make sure that the bedroom is dark enough for a quality sleep and avoid blue screens, from your iPad or smartphone, just before you go to sleep, because they disturb your night’s sleep.

Get into bed clean

Do you like to take a relaxing shower before going to sleep or do you like to take a shower in the morning and wake up peacefully? Showering before going to bed would make you calmer, so you sleep better. Whether you want to shower in the evening or in the morning, that’s up to you.

It is important to cleanse your skin well and to rub off the make-up and dirt of the day. You also apply a moisturizing night cream every night before you put on your nightgown and crawl into bed.

Finally, we want to give you some tips to ensure an extra good night’s sleep.

Did you know that a satin pillowcase is very good to sleep on? This fabric is not only very nice and soft to sleep on, it is also good for your skin and hair. Satin polishes your hair, as it were, so that it is less likely to damage or break and you also suffer less from split ends.

If you like to sleep with your hair in a ponytail or bun, use a (satin) scrunchie and don’t tie it too tight to avoid tension in your hair. If you like to get up in the morning with curls in your hair, put (loose) braids in your hair before going to sleep.
