To get to the point straight away, I’m an anti-smoker. Of course I used to light a cigarette with a girlfriend as a teenager, because we thought it was cool. But I never liked it, even nasty, so for me the so-called “tough” phase was over quickly.
So I’m not in favor of it, it’s unhealthy, your fingers look dirty, you see it on your skin and the smoke smell lingers everywhere. As a very small child, I already thought it was very dirty. Back then it was quite normal for my parents to put ashtrays on the table for smokers on birthday parties, while they didn’t even smoke themselves! The next day, often on Sunday, we stayed in a smelly house.
Back in the days nobody talked about how bad smoking was for you. Of course everyone understood that it wasn’t a healthy activity, but you were almost unique if you didn’t smoke. In recent years fewer and fewer people smoke. Everyone is increasingly aware of how harmful it is to your health. You can also smoke in fewer places. But what if you have the greatest difficulty to quit smoking?
E-cigarettes
Many people have stopped smoking using an e-cigarette. With a so-called e-smoker including e-liquids you can gradually reduce the need for nicotine. Buying an e-smoker including an e-liquid for the taste makes quitting a lot easier.
The opinions of e-cigarettes are quite divided. Research has shown that e-cigarettes are not without health risks, but that they are probably much less harmful than regular cigarettes. The e-cigarette is a better alternative to a regular cigarette, and that’s how it is meant.
Quit smoking?
There are of course different ways to quit smoking:
- CBD oil. I recently had written an article about this. CBD oil has a positive effect on the body and can also help stop smoking. It has a beneficial effect on possible withdrawal symptoms such as irritability and sweat attacks.
