Kate Moss has a collaboration with Rimmel and designed some beautiful lipsticks and a mascara. I particularly like her matte lipsticks, they’re very pretty and feel great on my lips. The collection of Kate Moss is pretty popular, the quality is very good and it’s affordable.

I tested 2 colors of the Lasting Finish Matte collection (red casing), and one color of the Lasting Finish Nude. The Kate Mascara is the only mascara that she has designed.
Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipsticks.
The matte lipstick is available at Bol.com in 7 different colors. They are matt but not so extreme matt as, for example, the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, where it’s wise to use a lip balm first otherwise your lips will feel dry. That’s with these matte lipsticks not the case, they feel very comfortable and go velvety on the lips. The lipsticks aren’t totally kiss-proof but stay put very long.
I’ll start right away with my favorite color, number 101 Pink Rose. This is a soft pink color that’s beautiful for any occasion. Because this lipstick color is so soft I wear it most often.

This is the color 105 Mauve Rose, a darker shade of pink.
I think on my lips the color is more a combination of red / brown, but beautiful.
Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Nude Lipstick.
This nude lipstick is available at Bol.com in 3 different colors. What Kate Moss says about the nude collection: ‘I want every girl to feel great in her own skin and find her perfect nude. Makeup is all about having fun and experimenting with both natural looks and red carpet glamour. But, for this collection, I really wanted to go back to basics.’
This is the darkest color nude, color 45, of the 3 available colors. Also the nude lipsticks have that creamy texture and feel soft and comfortable on your lips.
Usually I’m not a big fan of nude lipsticks, I find a touch of color on my lips better. But I must admit that I’m pleasantly surprised with this nude color, some getting used to but I think it’s certainly not bad.
Rimmel Kate Moss Mascara.
The Kate Mascara comes in 4 different colors and is available at Bol.com. They are not waterproof.
I always use a black mascara and this is the 004 Jet Black. The brush has a special shape with the description “broken heart”. With the wide side of the brush you will get a lot of volume and with the tip you can reach the tiniest lashes. In the photo with the nude lipstick I wear this mascara.
Conclusion.
I’m crazy about matte lipsticks and these creamy matte colors of Kate feel very soft, give a lot of color, don’t dry out my lips and the color stays very nice for a long time. They are not completely matt, but have a nice velvety finish. The nude lipstick is getting used to but I will definitely wear more often, it feels good on the lips and looks very natural, a good base color. The Kate Mascara brush is also some getting used to but it gives lots of volume and length to your lashes, no lumps and fine building up with two layers.
