L’Oréal Lip Paint Matte & Lacquer

A nice lipstick or lip gloss doesn’t have to be expensive. L’Oréal Paris proves that with the new Lip Paint lipsticks. The L’Oréal Paris Lip Paint is a liquid lipstick with a shiny or matte finish. The collection consists of 8 lipsticks in 4 different colors, 4x matte and 4x shiny. The colors are all intense with a perfect coverage.

From the collection I tested a matte and a shiny lipstick. The matte color is 201 Hollywood Beige and the shiny color is 103 Fuchsia Wars. The matte colors have a soft mousse formula and the shiny colors are glossy and creamy.

The applicator has a nice shape and isn’t attached to the tube but you turn it out off the tube. With this special shaped applicator you can accurately apply the lipstick.

201 Hollywood Beige.

This is a very nice soft coral color which blends perfect with your lips. A great color to keep your lips very natural.

103 Fuchsia Wars.

This is an intense color but I like it a lot. A striking bright color like this is very beautiful for the summer.

Conclusion.

I want to try out the other colors of the L’Oréal Lip Paint as well, but for now the matte color Hollywood Beige is absolute my favorite. This color is so pretty, soft and creamy.

This kind of liquid formulas (especially the matte variants) can sometimes have the tendency to leave stains on the lips. Therefore first scrub your lips and then hydrate with a lip balm before applying the liquid lipstick.

The shiny lipsticks are more pigmented than the matte ones and the colors stay on longer. They feel a bit sticky on your lips as a gloss does.

I like the feeling of the matte formula better on my lips, it’s silky smooth so you don’t feel that you are having lipstick on.

L’Oréal Lip Paint Lipsticks are available at Bol.com for € 12,99.
