A while ago I hit the pan from my beloved Nars Orgasm blush and since a few days there’s really nothing left. As a back-up I had a nice blush palette by the brand Makeup Revolution, so instead of that I immediately purchased my trusted Nars blush I found this a nice timing to test the palette. All palettes of Makeup Revolution have a large mirror, like!

The blush palette comes in a black box with gold lettering as all palettes of Makeup Revolution.

On the back of the carton box are the colors displayed that are in the palette and these are very similar.

The palette itself is also black with gold lettering, nice thin (so easy to carry in your purse or on traveling) and looks sophisticated.

The colors in this palette are really beautiful! On the top row is a cool toned highlighter, then a soft slight pink blush (could also be used as a highlighter), a slightly darker blush with shimmer in it and finally a bronzer with a warm shimmer to a sunkissed effect. On the bottom row, the first a warmer and more natural highlighter, then two bronzers again with a shimmer and finally a matte bronzer that’s great for contours.

I think the shimmers and highlighters are very nice in this palette, I do find it difficult to determine what’s a highlighter or blush because in almost all colors there’s a lot of shimmer, I think that most of the colors in this palette can be used as a highlighter and blush. If you don’t want too much shine on your face, I would only use this palette as a highlighter and not as a blush because of the many shimmers, the matte bronzer is fine in any case to contour your face. In the photo I used the cool toned highlighter and dark blush from the top row and from the bottom row the matte bronzer as a contour. The pigmentation is good of all colors and for this classy-looking palette you only pay a low price.
