Online shop Drogisterij.net has a 1 + 1 for free on all products from L’Oreal and let me just reviewing the three Pure Clay Masks by L’Oreal today. Put it to your advantage when you think at the end of this review, “I want them too!”

Lately I only used sheetmasks because I just think they work very well and it doesn’t get messy. Still I was very curious about these new clay masks by L’Oréal, first because they are a lot cheaper and because I like the familiar feeling of clay on my skin.

L’Oréal Pure Clay Masks.

In total there are 3 different masks, each with their own function. They come in a glass jar with a green lid. I find that a tube works better and is more hygienic, but these containers are a feast for the eyes. All 3 have a creamy texture that you rinse off after 5 to 10 minutes with lukewarm water. Content of each jar is 50ml.

The clays that have been incorporated in all 3 masks:

• Kaolien: a highly concentrated clay that cleanses your skin and absorbs excess sebum. 
• Montmorilleoniet: this clay is rich in minerals and tackles imperfections.
• Glassoul: this clay contains oligo-elements that brightens the complexion of your skin.  

L’Oréal Pure Clay Exfoliating Mask.

This mask with red alga extract exfoliates the skin, refines pores and gives a radiant soft skin. During removal of this mask you exfoliate your skin again because there’s a fine grit in the mask.

L’Oréal Pure Clay Detox Mask.

This mask contains coal that detoxifies and cleans your skin very well. Your skin looks fresh and radiant again. The texture is very creamy.

L’Oréal Pure Clay Purifying Mask.

This mask contains eucalyptus extract that cleanses and mattifies your skin, ideal for skin that is shiny and sometimes suffers from impurities. This mask also has a very creamy texture.

Conclusion.

The good thing about these type of masks is that you can easily multitask with them because they all have a different effect. Do you have for example a greasy T-zone than the purifying mask is ideal because it mattifies and works anti-bacterial. On your cheeks, forehead and chin, you can then use the other two masks.

I’m prone to a shiny t-zone and love the purifying mask. I also like masks that exfoliate your skin because they do just that little bit extra. As an extra pampering I love the detox mask.
