Insight Beach, day at the beach in city oasis Breda

Last Thursday I was invited with a friend to come and chill for a day at Insight Beach in Breda. This great pop-up location started last summer in Eindhoven where it was a great success. This summer season Insight Beach will be open in Breda from 1 June, the location is located at the event location STRND, just outside the city center, a day at the beach in the city oasis of Breda.

Countries around us also know that the infections in our country are increasing. There is a chance that your booked and well-deserved holiday will be jeopardized. When you stay in your own country or come back from your holiday, a visit to Insight Beach is recommended. On a beautiful summer day you can plan a beach day with friends without being stuck in traffic for hours, and parking is free in front of the door.

You can relax here all day long, swim, eat delicious food and bubble in the jacuzzi. As soon as you go through the gate you immediately imagine yourself in tropical atmospheres due to the white beach and palm trees. There are lovely lounge beds and cabanas, 5 jacuzzis, a beach bar, a covered and heated terrace bar and a spacious swimming pool. Everything is 1.5 meters apart and everyone has to book a place in advance, so you can’t just walk in, the RIVM guidelines are followed.

The lounge beds (2 pers) have a parasol and a table for eating and drinking. The lounge beds include 2 bath towels and a cooling mist spray. When you book several beds under the same name, they will be placed next to each other as much as possible. The same applies to the luxury cabanas (2 pers), these include beach towels, 1 bottle of sparkling water or flat, cooling mist spray and 2 beach chairs. The luxury cabanas can also be rented including a VIP jacuzzi, you can use the jacuzzi with a maximum of 4 people.

In addition to all this, there is entertainment with Dutch Top DJs, there are clean changing rooms and toilets, and finally a separate outdoor shower.

If you want to come with children, this is possible from Monday to Thursday and on Sunday. Children under 18 are not allowed on Friday and Saturday.

Food & Drinks

We were pleasantly surprised with the menu. On arrival a delicious cocktail was immediately made for us and we could order whatever we wanted from the menu. The most delicious dishes, all with a beach vibe of course, come from the kitchen of Chef Pascal Ariëns of Restaurant by Pascal. The dishes are served at your own bed, bringing your own consumption is not allowed.
