No I wasn’t done talking about matte lipsticks and just can’t resist getting new matte lipsticks again. This time matte lipsticks by the brand Maybelline, a liquid matte lipstick which is available in 10 different colors. I’ve tested 2.
Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid.
These matte lipsticks by Maybelline feel very soft on your lips because they don’t dry up on your lips like a normal liquid lipstick does. I’ve some liquid matte lipsticks that do completely dry up on your lips, the benefit of that is that they are super long wearing and don’t wear off quickly. The only disadvantage; your lips feel dry. These matte lipsticks are very creamy and comfortable on your lips. Because they are so creamy the finish is not super matte but more velvet. I find that velvet effect beautiful but if you rather have super matt lips than just bite in a tissue and that little gloss effect will go away.
The lipsticks are highly pigmented and give a lot of color. The packaging is transparent so you immediately see the right color.

Vivid Matte Liquid Nude Flush.
Nude Flush is the ideal color for daytime. Very natural and soft color.

Conclusion.
The colors are very intense and I just love the “matte” finish. These creamy lipsticks apply very smooth with the long applicator and your lips feel soft throughout the day. You have to re-apply a few times during the day because they don’t dry up. The color remains good for 3 to 4 hours.
