Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette

I don’t talk that often about eyeshadows and I don’t use it every day, but I do have different eyeshadow palettes in my makeup stash. I skip most hypes around eyeshadow palettes, until I saw the new palette of Anastasia Beverly Hills. I love brown and red colors because they make my blue eyes pop.

Modern Renaissance Palette.

The palette has a velvety soft pink exterior.

The palette has 14 different shades, lots of warm tones of which there are 11 matte and 3 have a metallic finish. The two colors that stand out the most for me are the berry shades Love Letter and Venetian Red, all other colors are pretty neutral colors.

The 14 shades.

Tempera – a light beige shade with a velvety matte finish
Golden Ochre – a yellow olive shade with a matte finish
Vermeer – a bright light peach shade with a metallic finish
Buon Fresco – a purple mauve shade with a matt finish
Antique Bronze – a brown shade with a red undertone and a metallic finish
Love Letter – a dark berry shade with a cool undertone and a matte finish
Cyprus Umber– dark coffee with a warm undertone and a matte finish
Raw Sienna – a light golden shade with a matte finish
Burnt Orange– a light earth shade with a matte finish
Primavera– a light golden shade with a metallic finish
Red Ochre– a dark red-brown shade with a warm undertone and a matte finish
Venetian Red– a dark red shade with a warm undertone and a matte finish
Warm Taupe– a taupe shade with a warm undertone and a matte finish
Realgar– an orange shade with a warm undertone and a matte finish

Conclusion.

Normally there are always a few shades in a palette that you barely use, but with the Modern Renaissance palette I really use all the colors. The pigmentation is insanely good and in combination with an eyeshadow primer the colors are popping. The shades are all blending nicely with each other, don’t fade and stay beautiful all day (tip; always use a primer). With this palette you can create a beautiful natural eye look, but also a smokey eye or go completely for glam.
