The budget brand e.l.f. Cosmetics is a big hit in America. All e.l.f. products are hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic and they don´t test on animals. They have very affordable products with high quality and it’s available in the supermarket or at the drugstore. At Walmart I bought two different primers of this brand and one of them I use almost every day this summer.
Primers.
The primers of e.l.f. Cosmetics (e.l.f. stands for Eyes, Lips, Face) come in handy pump bottles with a volume of 14ml. They ensure that your makeup is applied evenly and they fill in fine lines and pores.
I start with my favorite primer, the Illuminating Face Primer. This one gives a nice glow and boost your skin´s radiance, suitable for all skin types.
At first glance you think by seeing all that glitter that your face is going to look like a disco ball, but believe me, under your foundation it gives a really good result. Neither have I spread the product out on the photo.
This primer is ideal if you have an uneven skin tone or like me have pigmentation from the sun. It just gives a little more coverage in combination with your foundation.
The Poreless Face Primer is very nice when you have a combination skin which quickly shines.
This primer is colorless and has the same structure as you are used to from most primers.
Besides that this primer makes your skin smooth before applying makeup, it also contains nourishing ingredients for your skin such as Tea Tree and Vitamin A and E. You can smell the Tea Tree very well when applying but luckily that fades once it is aborbed in your skin.
Conclusion.
I thought that I would find the Poreless Face Primer the finest of the two but that´s not the case. It works fine but just not that special, I’d rather use the Benefit POREfessional Primer. The Illuminating Face Primer I really like, it gives a beautiful glow, I don´t shine all day and it provides extra coverage.
