Since the latest foundation by Nars, All Day Luminous Weightless I’ve tested this foundation and it‘s so nice that I continue to use it. Nars is obviously a fantastic brand and they are particularly strong in blush and highlighter, I’d never actually tried a powder from Nars and since I completely emptied my MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder I decided to try the Nars Soft Velvet Loose Powder.

Nars Always has beautiful sleek packaging. This powder comes in a round jar with the familiar matte black cap from Nars. This matte black Nars always use is beautiful but unfortunately also attracts a lot of dirt.
I’ve the color Snow, this is a bit too light for my skin, where the Mac Prep + Prime powder almost gives no color, this powder gives some color and will affect the color of your foundation.
This loose powder is available in 8 different shades. I’ve a yellow undertone and I should actually have to use the color Eden.
Conclusion.
I glow pretty fast and can honestly say that I’ve to powder again much sooner than with the Mac Prep + Prime powder, if you are not bothered by an oily skin, this is a fine powder, but this powder isn’t really oil control as Nars describes. However, the powder is silky soft and gives a nice soft feeling, fine lines and pores fade. A powder keeps your foundation beautiful in place and gives a nice finish, but this powder by Nars is also beautiful to wear alone (if you’ve chosen the right color, of course).
