STARSKIN Detoxing Kelp Cleansing Foam

A while back I talked about the Dutch brand STARSKIN and especially about the Bio Cellulose Second Skin Face Masks which I like. New by STARSKIN is the Detoxing Sea Kelp Leaf Collection which consists of a sheet mask and a cleanser, together they provide the ultimate detox for your skin. Especially to cleanse your skin in the evening with the Detoxing cleanser and to close with the Sea Kelp mask before you go to sleep gives a tremendous boost to your skin. I still need to try the mask but I’ve tested the cleanser.

STARSKIN Detoxing Kelp Cleansing Foam.

This cleanser contains sea kelp, a kind of superfood for you skin that detoxifies and nourishes. It’s a foaming cleanser that deeply cleanses and refreshes the skin and leaves a luxurious feeling behind.

STARSKIN Detoxing Kelp Cleansing Foam

The cleanser itself is mint green in color and first feels like a cream but as soon as it comes into contact with water it will foam.

Ingredients.

  • Glacier water has an abundance of natural minerals.
  • Clay removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores.
  • Spirulina. This blue-green micro-algae nourishes and moisturizes the skin with Vitamin E.
  • Peony Root contains paeoniflorin, a strong antioxidant which tackles pigmentation spots.
  • Sea Fern. These marine algae contains active ingredients and reduce age spots.
  • Hijiki is rich in minerals, a high-fiber seaweed harvested on the coast of Japan and is known for its anti-inflantibacteriële properties.
  • Jellyfish. A rich source of collagen, treats and prevents DNA-damage to the skin and promotes cell regeneration and rejuvenation of the skin.
  • Green caviar rich in minerals, vitamins A and C and essential fatty acids.

The Detoxing Sea Kelp Cleanser is free from SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) and other chemical preservatives, suitable for all skin types.

Conclusion.

The cleanser cleanses deeply but feels velvety on the skin. You really just need a pea size for your entire face and as soon as it comes into contact with water it gives a lot of foam. After rinsing your skin feels a bit gruff but nog tight, same idea when your hair is very clean and it feels a bit stiff. I think it’s a nice cleanser, my preference always goes to this kind of facial cleansers and I’m definitely going to try this one in combination with the Detoxing Sea Kelp mask.

How do you prefer to clean your face? Let me know XO.
