According to Voque, the Eve Lom Cleanser is the best cleanser in the world. It’s certainly one of my favorite cleansers. It’s a balm that you apply on dry skin and then remove with a specially supplied cloth that you moisten with warm water. As a final step, you dip the cloth in cold water and press it against your face so that your pores close again. The result is a clean, soft and smooth skin with no trace of make-up on it. This luxurious balm that cleanses and moisturizes your skin, gives you the feeling that you have undergone a mini facial treatment every time and the most dry skin is happy with this cleansing.

Never change a winning team, you would think. Yet Eve Lom has released a new cleanser.

Eve Lom Gel Balm Cleanser + Giveaway.

Why a new cleanser? Lack of time, the fact that we are always in a hurry. Where cleansing your face with the original Eve Lom Cleanser is a bit time-consuming job, the latest addition of Eve Lom is much faster.

The Eve Lom Gel Balm Cleanser is thinner in texture than the original Eve Lom Cleanser and comes in a package with pump, 100ml. The texture is between a gel and a balm and feels very soft.

Ingredients.

The most important:

• Shea Butter: seals moisture for long-term hydration.
• Grapeseed oil: moisturizes and absorbs quickly into the skin.
• Plant-derived lecithin: conditions the skin and supports the barrier function of the skin.
• Unique blend of enzymes: gently and effectively dissolves makeup and impurities without removing the moisture from the skin.

The Eve Lom Gel Balm Cleanser is formulated with clove oil, which is used for its antiseptic properties, while eucalyptus oil works to ban toxins and purify the complexion. Egyptian chamomile oil works together with Shea Butter to improve the moisture content of the skin. Grapeseed oil is included for the regulation of oil production, maintaining a healthy balance of natural oils, while antioxidants defend against environmental stressors. Emulsifying lecithin and botanical extracts such as argan oil and olive oil soothe and nourish, creating a radiant complexion.

Conclusion.

Again this is a very nice cleanser from Eve Lom. My preference goes to the thicker balm, the original Eve Lom cleanser, but this new Gel Balm cleanser is ideal when you have less time. In the morning, for example, this Gel Balm is very nice, cleans thoroughly and moisturizes and nourishes your skin at the same time. By leaving out the cloth that comes with the original balm, your skin misses the exfoliating benefits, but in terms of cleaning your skin and getting rid of makeup, this cleanser also works fine. My daily 3 layers of mascara are gone. I use the Gel Balm cleanser twice in a row, the first time even on dry skin, as with the original Eve Lom cleanser. This may not be how it supposed tot work, but it works perfectly for me. I massage it over my dry skin and slowly add more and more water. The 2nd time I do it on moist skin, as the package stated. The Gel Balm is very soft for the skin and suitable for all skin types.

Good to know:

This mineral oil-free cleanser provides the perfect base for serums, moisturizers and other skin care products to work at their best. It was Harper Bazaar’s Best of the Best Award Winner for a Balm Cleanser.
