Last Saturday I was invited to the Essence Maker Shop Event that took place at the Alexandrium Shopping Center in Rotterdam. I got the chance, together with 20 other bloggers from the Netherlands and Belgium, to make my own lip gloss. Blog sisters Larissa and Tara Verbon from Endlesss Weekend were also there to open the event.
Essence Maker Shop Event.
The Maker Shop was incredibly fun, with every step of creating your lip gloss there was another stand. During this experience, someone from Essence Cosmetics came along with me to help and advise.
Before we started, I had the honor to briefly tell something about this fun event on the Instagram Stories of Essence Cosmetics. Happy face!
Very professional we got a laboratory coat and sweet glasses for protection, of course in Essence style. Pink gloves, check!
Choose color and mix, that’s not so simple. I aimed for a beautiful dark plum color, but it turned out differently.
Of course there need to be glitters in the lip gloss, we want to shine after all. A very subtle glitter, I decided to add a beautiful golden glitter to my lip gloss.
As a last step, we could add a flavor to the lip gloss.
Tadaaaa! And then the lip gloss is done. Afterwards we got a nice goodie bag besides the lip gloss.
Here it is. No plum color but a beautiful soft purple color and check that shine! The lip gloss is poured into a nice shell and smells deliciously sweet. The formula is extremely glossy and gives the feeling of hydrated lips.
