Boscia Hydrogel Masks

I’ve talked before about the masks by Boscia but only in my emptied blogposts. Never before have I posted a review about this brand while it’s one of my favorites when it comes to sheet masks.

Boscia is a Japanese brand that was introduced in 2002 in the US. It’s the world’s first brand that presented a 100% preservative free skincare line on the market. Boscia uses only botanical (plant) ingredients.

Hydrogel Masks.

Boscia has 5 different hydrogel masks for the face and one hydrogel mask specially for under the eyes. The Green Tea Mattifying Hydrogel Mask is the only mask that I haven’t tested. I’ll show you the other 4 masks + the eye mask.

The face masks of Boscia come in two parts. The first mask that I’ve tried is this black mask, the Charcoal-Pore Minimizing Hydrogel Mask. I posted a photo a while ago on Instagram, charming right? I warn you, the following pictures with mask are not much better!

A mask that refines skin texture and minimizes pores. This mask cleans your skin deeply, expels toxins and gives a soft skin. Bamboo Charcoal attracts oil and dirt from your skin and refines the skin.

Besides Charcoal this mask also contains three other active ingredients:

  • Marine Collagen: is anti-aging and provides a firmer skin.
  • Tea Tree Oil: penetrates deep into the pores, dries out pimples without drying out the skin itself.
  • Allantoin: increases cell renewal and soothes the skin.

This light pink mask moisturizes your skin deeply and gives an ultra-soft skin. Cold-pressed Camellia (Tsubaki) oil is a powerful antioxidant that has anti-inflammatory properties but also acts as a kind of anti wrinkle cream.

Besides camellia oil this mask also contains three other active ingredients:

  • Vitamin E; restores damaged skin cells.
  • Serine; absorbs excess oil and impurities.
  • Jojoba Leaf; nourishes the skin and helps prevent damage to the skin by preventing free-radicals damage.

This seaweed mask is the latest hydrogel mask by Boscia. The mask revitalizes the skin and provides more firmness and elasticity. Wakame (Japanese sea kelp) is rich in antioxidants and vitamins, it restores moisture loss and prevents fine lines.

Besides Seaweed this mask also contains three other active ingredients:

  • Brown Seaweed; reduces redness and fights against aging.
  • Licorice Root; improves skin tone and fights against discoloring.
  • Marine Collagen; improves the firmness of the skin and retains moisture.

Besides Sake this mask also contains three other active ingredients:

These eye masks are specially designed for the delicate skin under your eyes. These masks contain a high concentration of Sake for a brightening effect under your eyes and to reduce fine lines. The other three active ingredients are exactly the same as the brightening facial mask.

Conclusion.

All incredibly fine masks with the brightening facial and eye masks as my favorites. I’m always very happy with eye masks which give you quickly a fresh look again. The masks are all adhere well to the skin so you’re not forced to lie down for 20 minutes (which of course is nothing wrong with though). The masks feel comfortable cold to the skin and that’s especially very pleasant in the summer. They all give a lot of hydration and are soaked in serum. I like to use these masks in the evening before a go to sleep. After 20 minutes I massage the remaining serum into my skin, I even get it out of the sachet for an extra boost.

Boscia is available at Sephora.com, facemasks are $ 8,00 and the eye masks $ 15,00 (3 pair).

Which masks would you choose Let me know XO.
