The best-selling product of Benefit is the POREFessional Primer and that’s not without reason, I use a primer daily under my foundation and the POREfessional is one of the finest primers I’ve ever used. This magical stuff reduces all your pores and fine lines, ensures that your skin stays matte and it makes your skin silky soft so that your foundation is even easier to apply and lasts all day nicely in place.

Benefit POREfessional Primer.

Benefit has always upbeat and original packaging and the packaging of the POREfessional is with soft yellow and blue colors, the tube in the package has a volume of 0.75 fl. oz.

The tube has the same sweet colors.

The primer can be used in 3 ways;

After you put on moisturizer apply a thin layer of primer, then wait a minute before you apply make up / foundation for the best results.
Or use the primer over your foundation, do this slightly dabbing and blend it if necessary with your foundation brush, this way you keep your skin and make-up nice and smooth throughout the day.
You rather don’t go out the door with full make-up on? Use only a layer of primer, it erases imperfections and creates a beautiful smooth skin without having makeup on.

The primer is slightly tinted but is suitable for all skin tones because the primer becomes transparent as soon as you apply it. The primer is oil free and therefore suitable for all skin types. It contains a lot of silicon, the basis of most primers, that’s what makes your skin silky soft and smooth. Contrary to what some people think, silicone don’t shut off your skin but just puts a silk layer over your skin, therefore it can give no skin irritation according to dermatologists and you don’t get any pimples from it.

The ingredients.

Like a said a lot of silicone (Cyclopentasiloxane en Dimenthicone) but also Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate) that protects your skin from harmful influences and skin aging.

Conclusion.

This product is doing a very good job! It mattifies my skin all day and my makeup stays nicely in place, I like the feeling of a silky smooth silicone layer on my skin, but that’s me. Pores and other imperfections are greatly reduced by the POREfessional, really the only downside I can think of is the price because it’s not cheap, but oké a second tube of the POREfessional is already in my bathroom so apparently I find it really worth the price. Now you just need a little bit each time, but also the tube of 0.75 fl. oz. isn’t so big, through the small opening of the tube you can dose the primer properly so you don’t use too much product each time. The primer is suitable for all skin types and is also nice for dry skins, I’ve a combination skin and the primer is ideal for my t-zone because it mattifies so beautiful. Do you have fine lines, blemishes or visible pores (nose) than this popular primer is a must-have, it perfects your skin magically!
