This time a personal blogpost, 50 Facts About Me. I hope you like it to read, who knows what we have in common. Feel free to leave a comment with a fun fact about yourself.

1. Back in the day I found my name Frieda enormously stupid, how can you name your child Frieda. That feeling has now passed, I was named after my grandmother who has died very young, now I find it very special.

2. I have a slightly coffee addiction. As soon as I wake up, I already look forward to the first cup of coffee of that day.

3. I’m afraid of spiders. Small spiders is one thing, but when spiders have a fat body and thick legs I turn pale.

4. I love action movies (a good thriller is also good) and preferably a movie where the main character takes revenge, priceless.

5. My favorite color is blue.

6. I’m a car freak, always have been. I love big, tough cars with lots of horsepower. Check my Pinterest account, there I’ve a board with Big Muscled Cars that I find very beautiful.

7. I get very restless of clutter, first I clean up then I can think clearly again.

8. I’m a terrible shivery type, at home it’s always 22 degrees.

9. I’m a star in delaying difficult chores or things that are less fun to do, such as the administration.

10. I would like to be a little more structured.

11. I still think it’s too important what other people think of me, happily it becomes less.

12.I blush very quickly, sometimes people can take this the wrong way.

 13. I find that sometimes I’ve a prejudice about someone too quickly, not always fair of course. When people have an opinion about me without knowing the facts I don’t like that either.

14. We have 2 cats (Ragdoll) and 1 dog (Bernese Mountain Dog), we had two Berners, two males, but the youngest unfortunately deceased to cancer.

15. My husband and I are building our dream house. At the edge of the forest, a farm with thatched roof, home office and plenty of ground where the children can enjoy themselves.

16. I’m left-handed, but when I kick a ball it’s with my right leg.

17. I am the oldest at home, I have two brothers and a sister.

18. I’m not sporty, the only sport that I like to play is golf. Of sports like running, I’m going to hyperventilate (figuratively speaking). Oh yeah, I also like water skiing.

19. My husband and I’d liked to have a 3rd child, this we’ve given up after two miscarriages. I’m not getting any younger, and finally we have two beautiful children, a girl and a boy. Count your blessings.

20. I lived briefly in a big city, not for me, with tires screeching back to the countryside, a small town , where I was born and raised. I find a city very nice, but not to live in, I love the peace and adore the forest.

21. I have a love / hate relationship with nail polish, I think it’s very nice, but annoy me immensely when the lacquer qets ugly.

22.I love the sun and hot summer weather, nothing so fine as the warmth of the sun on your skin.

23. I eat everything, I just don’t eat organ meats.

24. Charming walking on high heels I can’t so well, I think high heels are very beautiful, but I always go for the subtle heel.

25. I’ve fallen in love with Florida, my husband and I dream about having a house there.

26. I don’t wear a lot of skirts or dresses, you can draw me out in a jeans / pants and a shirt or top (with a blazer in the winter).

27. I love to hug, I always find it very strange if someone can’t give a good hug and stands there stiff.

28. In the evening I never want to go to bed, every morning I say to myself that I need to go to bed earlier (which never works).

29. My husband asked me to marry him on an island in the Bahamas, on top of a rock (melt).

30. Flowers and plants are not for me, I always let them die.

31. I can’t ice skate very well, my ankles are too weak and I therefore think it’s not fun.

32. I don’t like winter sports, it’s always so cold in The Netherlands already, I prefer to go 2x to the sun.

33. Bucket List in terms of countries where I would like to go: Australia, Canada and Hawaii (okay no country but fiftieth state of America).

34. In the car I’ve little patience, people who cheerful drive 70 where you can drive 80 make me scream beyond.

35. I could eat a steak every day (sirloin or T-bone) and preferably medium-rare.

36. My birthday is in the middle of the summer (July 18) and on that day it’s rarely good weather (The Netherlands).

37. I’m a Christian.

38. I dye my hair blonde for years, I’m a brunette.

39. I shower in the evening, in the morning there’s no time.

40. I’ve complete faith in vitamin pills, my kids get a multivitamin pill every day.

41. I’m definitely not a fan of McDonald’s, every time I try something different and each time I regret it.

44. I never understood why there are mosquitoes on this earth, they are completely useless in my opinion.

45. I am crazy about Disney World in Orlando (Disneyland Paris is also nice, but can’t make it to Disney World, French people don’t understand it at all). I take every ride with my daughter, Space Mountain, Aerosmith roller coaster and Tower of Terror, great.

46. As a model, I’m actually far too short, I measure 173 (ssssttt it’s 172 ;)).

47. When I sneeze, everyone can enjoy it, I belong to the hard sneezers of this world.

48. I’ve visited a total of 24 countries in my life.

49. I used to think I could sing great, but believe me, it’s not good for your ears.

50. I think there should be me more hours in a day, I always run out of time.
