Mouth masks and your skin
Now that we are obliged to wear a mouth mask in more and more places, our skin has to endure a lot. Breathing behind a mouth mask actively promotes the formation of impurities. Under the mask it quickly becomes moist and warm, which is an ideal environment for bacteria to nest and multiply. Cleaning your skin twice a day is therefore an important step.
Louis Widmer’s four cleaning products
Stap 1. Louis Widmer Eye Make-up Cleaning Waterproof
This cleansing gently removes waterproof eye make-up and water-soluble make-up effortlessly. The non-greasy formula contains the vegetable oil squalane that cares for, softens and protects the delicate eye skin. It also ensures that the skin around the eyes does not dry out. The added panthenol improves moisture retention, protects against irritations and softens the sensitive skin around the eyes. The ophthalmologically tested composition is free of perfume and dyes and is also perfectly suitable for people with sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
Stap 2. Louis Widmer Cleansing milk
This mild formula thoroughly cleanses the face of make-up and impurities without causing irritation. The mild oil in water emulsion is well tolerated even by the most sensitive skin. Panthenol soothes sensitive or irritated skin. The added allantoin moisturizes the upper skin layers. Almond oil has a nourishing and protective effect and vitamin E neutralizes the harmful effects of free radicals. The dermatological composition cleans, softens, refreshes and moisturizes the skin, without affecting the natural protective layer
Stap 3. Louis Widmer Facial exfoliation
This peeling provides a weekly deep cleansing of the skin. The peeling gel contains extra mild ingredients and ultra-fine peeling granules. These granules are made from water-soluble and biodegradable Polycaprolactone. The gel provides a thorough cleaning and removes the keratinized skin cells, easy to rinse with water. The peeling stimulates the blood circulation in the skin, which contributes to a healthy and radiant skin. Nourishing creams can be more effective. The added biostimulators and urea moisturize the skin, making it supple, soft and elastic again. Panthenol improves moisture retention and soothes irritated skin. A jojoba oil derivative provides a mild organic exfoliation. With oily or combination skin, this peeling can be used 2 to 3 times a week. With normal skin 1 to 2 times a week and with dry and very dry skin 1x every two weeks.
Stap 4. Louis Widmer Tonic without alcohol
This is an extra cleaning step, which is not an unnecessary luxury after using mouth masks. The mild Tonic without alcohol is suitable for all skin types and completes the cleansing of the skin. The added biostimulators increase the ability to retain moisture in the skin. Panthenol and aloe vera soothe irritated skin. Thanks to a subsequent cleaning with the Tonic, nourishing creams penetrate better into the skin, so that active ingredients are absorbed faster and can work more effectively. Use this Tonic daily after the Cleansing Milk and weekly after the Facial Peeling.
