The sun is showing itself more and more and it’s starting to itch to go on the water again. Water has a great attraction, grew up with parents who used to have a speedboat, so that at the age of 11 I kept nagging my father if I could finally go water skiing. My mother was not amused when she found out that my father had changed tack and thought I was much too young. I think it’s kind of in our blood. My little brother gives surfing lessons and thanks to him I also got to taste surfing and supping a bit. Very nice to do, followed surf lessons with my son and we went supping a couple of times. Standing on a sub board is the easiest to get started with and perhaps the most accessible, 5 reasons why you should go supping.

Exercise is known to improve your mental health. Exercising in the open air has the additional advantage that you replenish your vitamin D, which in turn has a positive effect on a good mindset. You do paddle boarding in the great outdoors, think of the sea, rivers, lakes and canals. It is a balance sport that relaxes you mentally, a workout in a beautiful environment. The environment of water, the sound when you are surrounded by water, gives peace and allows your body to relax.
