For a microdermabrasion treatment you don’t have to go to your beautician anymore, how nice is that. The brand Philosphy has a microdermabrasion treatment that you can do at home; Philosophy Microdelivery Peel.

What’s microdermabrasion?

A microdermabrasion treatment removes a thin layer of the skin by using fine crystals. As a result, the cell renewal of the skin is stimulated so that fine lines, pigmentation, sun damage, scars and impurities are reduced.

How does the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel work?

The peel contains two products; a jar of vitamin C / peptide crystals and a bottle of lactic / salicyclic acid activating gel. Step 1; put a teaspoon peptide crystal on a clean and dry skin, massage gently (don’t push too hard) on the skin, avoiding the eye area. Step 2; put a teaspoon activating gel into your hand palm and spread it on the peptide crystals on your face. The combination of these products provides a bit of a foaming effect, and you‘ll notice that it gives a warm feeling on your skin. Leave the products together for about 2 to 3 minutes on your skin, if your skin isn’t very sensitive you can exfoliate the skin again by massaging lightly. Rinse and ready.

The bottle with the activating gel contains 60ml and the jar of vitamin C / peptide crystals contains 60 grams.

Step 1. Vitamin c / peptide crystals. A yellow substance which deliciously smells fresh like oranges.

Ingredients; Peg-6, Sodium Bicarbonate, Oleth-20, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Silica, Tocopheryl Acetate, 1,2-hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Helianthus Annuus (sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Beta-carotene, Retinyl Palmitate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Parfum/fragrance, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Tribehenin, Sorbitan Isostearate, Limonene, Bht.

Step 2. The lactic / salicyclic acid activating gel.

Ingredients; Aqua/water/eau, Lactic Acid, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Salicylic Acid, Linoleamidopropyl Pg-dimonium Chloride Phosphate, 1,2-hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Polyquaternium-10.

I think it’s a great product! My skin is very smooth and soft, this peeling does much more than a “normal” scrub. Use the peel kit 1x a week for best results (certainly not more often).
