Almost six years ago we had our house built, our dream house near the forest. I will always remain a country girl and love the peace and nature, we have found the perfect place for that. I also find it important in the house that it radiates a certain warmth and rest, for me a house is a home, my place where I can come to myself again after a long day.
I remember that I really enjoyed thinking about the furnishing back then, something I could do all over again and wanted to be different from our previous house. With us it has become a lot of wood and industrial (country girl remember), for example, our complete kitchen is custom made of wood, by hand. Wood is alive and brings a little bit of the outside in. Of course everyone wants to feel at home in their own house in their own way and with their own style. That’s why I like to share some interior inspiration for a nice budget.
Baroque
The elaborate classical Baroque style is often characterized by large furniture, much gold, large mirrors with gilded frames and chandeliers. These features can transform a simple interior into a luxurious style. The great thing about Baroque is that you don’t have to change your entire interior, but you can often go a long way with one statement piece in your living room or bedroom. For example, a baroque mirror above your bed or above the sofa immediately makes your interior chic. Because of the beautifully decorated frame, it immediately gives your house atmosphere and a mirror is indispensable in the house. A mirror is an attention grabber, gives depth to a room and makes it larger and lighter.
Carpet
We have all lost carpeting in the living room and kitchen for a long time. Create warmth with a beautiful carpet. Use light and neutral colors, they go with everything and make the room look bigger. If you want a carpet in your bedroom, it is important that it is a calm color and doesn’t contain busy prints.
Side table
An interior trend of 2021 is round shapes. Nowadays, next to all straight shapes in the house there should be something round to make everything softer. You can do this with nice round side tables. If we follow the trend completely, your side table is made of natural materials. You should think of, for example, wood, reed or bamboo.
Bedroom
The layout of your bedroom and a good bed is also very important, we all deserve a good night’s sleep. Not only for you and your partner, but also for your children. Maybe your toddler is ready for a new bed and you let the rapidly growing apple of your eye choose a toddler bed. The color trend of 2021 for your bedroom is yellow and gray, but also green and blue.
