Guerlain is one of the best brands when it comes to bronzing, The brand has many different bronzers in the range and all these bronzers give a beautiful, natural and tanned effect. The line Terracotta of Guerlain contains beautiful bronzers and also quite a few other sun-related products, think of tan boosters, waterproof make-up, bronzing spray for a sun-kissed body, a serum that keeps your skin tanned for a longer period of time and even a perfume.
From the Terracotta collection of Guerlain I’ve tested the Terracotta Bronzing Powder Moisturising and Long Lasting, this bronzing powder is the cult powder of Guerlain and specially for their Summer 2015 Collection packed in two summery colors.
Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder.
I find the (temporary) special summer packaging very nice, it’s a silicone shell that you can easily remove so that the familiar brown package of Guerlain comes out.
How beautiful is this! The bronzing powder comes in eight different shades, the shade that I’ve tested and that you see here in the picture is the shade 02 Natural – Blondes.
The shades.
The colors are divided into Blondes, Brunettes and one for Ethnic dark skin.
The bronzer is a pretty matte color, there’s a very slight shimmer in the bronzer, luckily this is very subtle and it provides the promised healthy glow. The bronzer is highly pigmented and therefore it’s wise to start very light so that you can build up the color to the desired result. The bronzer has a wonderful scent (but what’s the use?).
Result.
The good thing about this bronzer is that it’s in so many different shades that there’s a good match for every skin tone. The color 02 Natural – Blondes fits well with my skin, you don’t need to fear an orange glow, but it’s wise to dose the color because this bronzer is so highly pigmented that you quickly apply too much.
The Terracotta Bronzing Powder by Guerlain provides a natural sun-kissed glow to your skin with a beautiful matte result and you can use it throughout the year, through the moisturizing ingredients it doesn’t dry out your skin and gives a radiant complexion. Guerlain isn’t a cheap brand, but this bronzer is worth the money, especially because it’s economically in use due to the high pigmentation.
Apply the bronzer by drawing a 3 on both sides of your face, forehead, cheekbones and chin, finish by applying the bronzer further in your neck and possibly your cleavage. Of course you can also apply the bronzer all over your face or use it to shapen your face.
Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder is available at Feelunique.com for $ 57,16 (10g). Click here for more Guerlain summer products.

I <3 <3 <3 the Guerlain bronzers, I wish I could own all of them. I went to the Guerlain spa at the Waldorf Astoria in NY recently, and they had a little area with just all of the dreamy Guerlain products you could imagine, so I got to try all of these fantastic products out. It was like an actual dream full of bronzers 🙂
