After my enthusiasm about The Nudes nail polishes from budget brand Essence I couldn’t help myself to test the new Essence XXXL Lipgloss. The Essence XXXL collection is divided into 3 different types of liploss; XXXL Shine, XXXL Nude and XXXL Longlasting Matt Effect. I think that the nude shades are all very beautiful by Essence and have therefore tested two different nude shades.
Essence XXXL Nude Lipgloss.
This is the color 03 Taste The Sweets from the XXXL Nude line which contains 6 different beautiful nude shades. The applicator is fine and gives off enough color.
This color I like best from the matt collection and is perfect for when you just want a subtle touch on your lips, 03 Taste The Sweets is a very natural looking soft pink color with a beautiful shine.
Essense XXXL Longlasting Matt Effect Lipgloss.
Matte lips are hot right now and I find it very beautiful. Yhe XXXL Matt Effect line contains 4 different shades and this is the shade 05 Velvet Rose. The applicator is slightly longer than the XXXL Nude, but fine.
05 Velvet Rose is a beautiful pale pink shade, and I like the matt effect a lot. Matt shades can sometimes feel a little drie on the lips, but this matte lipgloss by Essence feels soft and stays in place.
The two colors look at first very similar, but the matt effect of the longlasting lipgloss looks very different on your lips. Both colors are subtle and very beautiful for this summer.
