The English brand Dr. Pawpaw has become known for their multi-purpose balm that you can use for your lips, skin, hair and cuticles. The brand began with the colorless Original balm, that comes in a yellow tube, but Dr. Pawpaw expanded this balm with a pink balm and a red balm. I’ve tested Dr. Pawpaw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm.

The three Dr. PawPaw Multi-purpose balms.

I love the color of this red balm.

Dr. Pawpaw Ultimate Red Tinted Balm is free of parabens, silicone and perfume but is packed with natural ingredients. The red balm can only be used as gloss/care for your lips and as a blush on your cheeks.

The ingredients:

Main ingredient is fermented papaya (paw paw) this fruit is known for its natural healing and is packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Ingredients are as follows: Petrolatum (vaseline), Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice (aloe vera leaf juice), Olea Europaea (olive) fruit oil (olive oil), Carica Papaya (fermented papaya), Potassium Sorbate (type of salt, a preservative which is active against fungus).

The color on my lips is a beautiful natural red, it’s actually vaseline with a touch of red through itIt’s not extremely glossy but gives a natural tint to my lips. My lips feel soft and stay hydrated without the feeling that I’ve continual put on some new lipgloss (aha that’s why I’ve a lipgloss addiction). The natural ingredients really make a difference, they nourish and protect my lips. I haven’t tested it on my cheeks because I‘m not a fan of a blush that is greasy, but I can imagine that if you want to go for a natural look, this blush will give you a natural glowThe balm is very economical in use and is now always with me in my handbag as a lipcare/lipgloss.

Dr. PawPaw is available at HQHair.com for $ 10,91 (0.85 fl. oz.).
