Nivea Facial Cleansing

Most brands expand their range more and more with different kinds of facial cleansing, also the brand Nivea. Cleaning Wipes by Nivea have been around for a while but now there are also three different types of Micellar water with associated cleaning wipes, as there is for every skin type a suitable cleaning. The first Micellar water by Nivea that has come on the market is the Sensitive & Nourishing 3 in 1 with Grapeseed Oil for the sensitive skin, new are the following Micellar waters; Nivea Soothing & Nourishing 3 in 1 with Almond Oil for dry or sensitive skin and Refreshing & Nourishing 3 in 1 with Vitamin E for the normal to combination skin. I’ve tested all three of them with the associated wipes.

Nivea Facial Cleansing.

I personally find it very pleasant to use Micellar water in the evening after I’ve cleaned my face with a face wash, therefore I use a cotton pad with Micellar water to remove the last traces of dirt and makeup, especially mascara remans you remove easily with Micellar water. In the morning Micellar is wonderful to cleanse your face and to freshen up. With the arrival of cleansing wipes, there is no excuse not to clean your face before bed, these are so easy and effective to use, in a flash your face is clean.

Nivea Sensitive & Nourishing 3 in 1 Micellar Water.

This is the first Nivea Micellar water that’s on the market and this one is especially suitable for sensitive skin, perfectly matched are the Sensitive Cleaning Wipes. Both cleanse the skin mild but effective and at the same time ensure that your skin remains well hydrated. This Micellar water contains no perfumes, dyes and parabens, it does contain Grapeseed Oil that intensive nourishes your skin and helps reduce redness and tightness, in addition this Micellar water also contains Dexpanthenol (provitamin B5) that retains moisture in your skin and stimulates cell renewal. The Cleaning Wipes are free of fragrance, alcohol and dyes but also contain, as with the Micellar water, the nourishing ingredient Dexpanthenol (provitamin B5).

Nivea Soothing & Nourishing 3 in 1 Micellar Water.

This Micellar water is especially suitable for dry or sensitive skin, besides it cleans the skin it also softens, soothes and moisturizes the skin by the addition of Almond Oil. Also this Micellar water contains no perfume. The soothing Cleaning Wipes also contain Almond Oil for soft and soothed skin after cleansing.

Nivea Refreshing & Nourishing 3 in 1 Micellar Water.

This refreshing Micellar Water without perfume is suitable for normal to combination skin and contains Vitamin E that provides a healthy and radiant skin. Also the Refreshing Wipes contains Vitamin E for a fresh, soft and soothed skin.

Aqua, Isopropyl Stearate, Nelumbium Speciosum Extract, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glycerin, VP/Hexadecene Copolymer, Sodium Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Methylisothiazolinone, Limonene, Linalool, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Benzyl Alcohol, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Geraniol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Benzyl Salicylate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Parfum.

Conclusion.

All three different types of Micellar Water cleanse my skin effectively but gently and give a pleasant and fresh feeling. It’s not the intention that you rinse your face again after you have cleaned it with Micellar water, so the care ingredients can do their job better. I can’t do without Cleaning Wipes anymore, it’s just so easy and effective, especially for your eye make up it works ideal. I don’t really have a favorite but when I purely look at my skin I would go for the Refreshing variants because these are for normal and combination skin, but when I look at the ingredients I find the Sensitive variants better because they don’t contain perfumes, alcohol, dyes and parabens. The list of ingredients is much less in the Sensitive variants, where the other Cleaning Wipes smell delicious (an unnecessary luxury I know) the Sensitive Cleaning Wipes don’t have any smell to them.
